Kerwin Webb – “Legacies”
Sundays, July 7 – August 4, 10:30 am
Coffee Hour Conversations will follow the services on July 21 and August 4
We’re pleased to announce our July Preaching Fellow for 2019! Kerwin Webb will preach a sermon series on the theme of legacies. This series seeks to help unpack our legacies: spiritually, congregationally, and communally. He will invite the congregation to join him to explore our lives and glean lessons from those deemed faithful in the Bible, looking at where we might replicate their successes and avoid their blunders.
Kerwin Webb is a 2019 graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, where he earned his Master of Divinity, a Certificate in Black Church Studies, and is the 2019 recipient of the Mary Long-Grier/ Hugh Davies Award for Excellence in Preaching. He is seeking ordination with the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey and currently serves as the Youth and Young Adult Minister at Second Baptist Church of Asbury Park, New Jersey. He earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration at Alabama State University and founded RMW Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization focused on child development, youth outreach, and adult empowerment.
