Can You Help Spread the Word?
Looking for a super easy way to help out the church? We’d love volunteers to get out the word about Cleveland Park Congregational UCC using Nextdoor or your neighborhood listserv.
We’re looking for people to post invitations to Easter worship or to participate in a food drive, for example. The church will provide a template for the postings, but of course this would be your post so you may modify as you wish! If you need information about joining Nextdoor, click here. After you register with Nextdoor, you can post an event using these instructions.
Contact Mark Turner, Chair of Communications & Technology Committee, or Meg House, Church Administrator, to be added to the “Nextdoor/Listserv Team.” Thank you!!
We also have a brand new Instagram account. If you’re on Instagram, please follow us on Instagram here. And we’re also on Facebook and Youtube, too. Thank you!
Last Chance for Mission & Social Action Survey
The Mission & Social Action Committee is determining “What’s Next.” We’d like to hear from you about your interests in volunteering or participating in the programs we support in the community.
Please click here to access a brief survey. Thank you!!
New Racial Justice Library
The Racial Justice Team has launched a small library in the parlor for people to borrow books. If you have any recently published or recommended fiction or non-fiction books focused on racial justice you’d like to contribute – or titles you’d like to recommend, email annlordeman19@gmail.com. Please do not just drop off books at the church.
Little Food Pantry
We’ve taken our first monthly donation from our Little Food Pantry to St. Paul’s Food Pantry. Thank you! Our children and youth will collect non-perishable food, toiletries (including feminine hygiene supplies), and cleaning supplies in the parlor cabinet each month. Requested items include: regular size boxes of cereal, jars of peanut butter, cans of chicken, tuna, and salmon, and shampoo, soap, and toothpaste, along with reusable grocery bags and paper bags with handles. Thank you!
